Reserve Deputies

Reserve Deputy Candidates need to apply with the Office of the Sheriff in person at 404 W. Austin Street, Rocksprings Texas. You must hold a Texas Peace Officers License issued by TCOLE. 

Those wishing to apply for an open position, when available must also apply in person. Again, you must hold a Texas Peace Officers License issued by TCOLE.

Both Reserve Deputy and those applying for an open position must be in good standing with TCOLE. In addition, an extensive background investigation will be conducted on qualified applicants.
