TWO DEL RIO MEN INDICTED FOR ASSAULT TO THE DISABLED
On August 10, 2017, two Del Rio men were indicted for Injury to the Disabled in connection with an assault over a small undisclosed sum of money that was owed.
Mark Anthony Jimenez (28) and his brother James Edward Jimenez (33) are accused of beating a disabled Rocksprings man at the Mesa Motel on May 14, 2017 causing serious bodily injury to the point that the man had to be placed on life support.
The indictment also increased the defendants bonds to $100, 000 dollars each and they remain in jail in lieu of posting bond.
