Traffic Stop Turns into Pursuit after Passing Vehicle Strikes Deputy

UPDATE: All 3 subjects have been apprehended. Thank you to those that called and reported them.


At around 7 P.M., and Edwards County Sheriff's Deputy and Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden were on a traffic stop on HWY 377 when a passing vehicle swerved over and struck the Deputy.


The Game Warden went after the vehicle where it wrecked out at HWY 41 and RM 335. Three black males absconded from the vehicle with 1 running south on RM 335 and the other 2 running north.


Five IA's were located in the vehicle, with 1 being a 10 month old baby that had to be airlifted and the mother was transported by ambulance.
The Deputy suffered minor injuries.


U.S. Border Patrol was notified and is assisting in the search.
