Traffic Stop Results in the Apprehension of 1 U.S. Citizen, a Firearm, and Four Undocumented Individuals

On 10/26/22, at approximately 7:35 A.M., an Edwards County Sheriff's Deputy conducted a traffic stop on HWY 377 just north of Rocksprings.
The traffic stop resulted in 1 U.S. Citizen being arrested for Smuggling and Possession of a Stolen Firearm. The 4 IA's were turned over to U.S. Border Patrol for processing.
