Edwards County Sheriff's Deputy assists U.S. Border Patrol in a Traffic Stop Resulting in the Arrest of 11 Undocumented Individuals

On 06/27/22 at around 1 A.M., an Edwards County Sheriff's Deputy assisted U.S. Border Patrol with a traffic stop in front of the Rocksprings School.
The driver was arrested for smuggling 11 IA's. Nine IA's were apprehended immediately and turned over to U.S. Border Patrol for processing and 2 IA's fled.
At around 8 A.M., 1 of the IA's was spotted by off duty Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden walking on HWY 377 north of Rocksprings. The subject was apprehended and turned over to U.S. Border Patrol for processing.
