Drive-By Shooting in Rocksprings, Texas

 

On November 22, 2015 at approximately 6:00 p.m. the Edwards County Sheriff's Office was notified of a drive-by shooting 400 block of West Kerr Street in the City of Rocksprings and then later informed of another area of a shooting in the 300 & 400 West Edwards Street. Initially Tudy U. Rios and Timothy C. Rios were arrested and charged with violations of the Texas Penal Code - Sec 22.05. Deadly Conduct and Sec. 22.0-41. Abandoning or Endangering Child. Upon further investigation into the incident using eye witness accounts, personal interviews and home security camera footages as well as other security cameras in the city, it was discovered that Tudy and Timothy Rios had actually defended their themselves as they were fired upon by subjects at the 300 & 400 block of West Edwards Street. Warrants were obtained to arrest Justin Rodriguez for Texas Penal Code - Sec 22.05. Deadly Conduct, Ricardo Carrillo Jr. for Texas Penal Code - Sec 22.05. Deadly **Currently in Custody in Bexar County, TX), Valery Barrera for Texas Penal Code Sec. 22.0-41. Abandoning or Endangering Child. **Arrested in Bexar County and released on Bond, and Regina Carrillo, Helen Carrillo, Lyndsy Reyes currently have outstanding warrants for their arrest for Felony violation of Texas Penal Code, Sec. 22.0-41. Abandoning or Endangering Child due to when their 4 vehicles occupied by their children descended upon Tudy's residence to commit acts of Deadly Conduct by firing a weapon at several people who had gathered at the residence.
