After a busy morning with two pursuits a total of four were arrested for smuggling and four IA's were turned over to U.S. Border Patrol

On 09/08/22 at around 9:30 A.M., Texas DPS Troopers were involved in a pursuit with a dark colored Chevrolet Malibu. The pursuit came to an end near the Annex and 2 U.S. Citizens were arrested shortly thereafter along with 2 IA's that were turned over to U.S. Border Patrol.
A few minutes after this pursuit an Edwards County Sheriff's Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a white Toyota Camry on HWY 377 past the track. The driver and passenger were arrested for smuggling and 2 IA's were turned over to U.S. Border Patrol for processing.
