LOCAL SUSPECTS ARRESTED FOR DRUG RELATED CASES

On May 17, 2018, two individuals were found to be in possession of marijuana in a drug free zone (property in control of Rocksprings Independent School District).  The alleged suspects were Daniela Garcia (18) and Alonzo Trevino (18) both from Rocksprings Texas were arrested at the location and were both booked into the Edwards County Detention Center and were released after both posting a $6000.00 bond.

On May 24, 2018 Michael Galindo (30) from Camp Wood called 911 and stated that some people were chasing him from Sonora and were pointing a handgun at him. The Vehicle that was chasing Galindo was stopped by Edwards County Deputies and it was alleged that Galindo had stolen money from them. Deputies went to Camp Wood to interview Galindo and Galindo was then arrested for abusive 911 calls and theft. Both charges were given a bonds totaling $6000.00 and Galindo posted bond and was released.
